A source has told FenwayNation that, contrary to Dustin Pedroia’s belief, umpire Dale Scott wasnot trying to catch a flight out of Boston on Wednesday.
In fact–as he had previously planned–Scott spent his Thursday off-day in Boston, and eventually flew out of the city on Friday morning.
